AC: Game Always Fails on Startup
Hey everyone, I've been searching online for a fix but haven't found any consistent advice. I've had issues where the game crashes and restarts my desktop, then crashes my whole PC when I try to reload. There are also noticeable drops in performance—80-100 FPS in open areas, then 60-70 FPS in cities. My CPU usage isn’t visible, but my GPU is maxed out since there’s no frame limit. I’m only talking about these dips to see if they’re connected or typical even on a stable version. My system runs a Ryzen 7 3700X, MSI MPG X570 board, has 16GB of Corsair Vengeance RAM at 3600MHz, and a GTX 5700 GAMING X GPU. The PSU is EVGA Supernova 850W, and I use M.2 SSDs with ADATA drives. My keyboard and mouse are Corsair models, and I’m using Windows 10 Pro 64-bit.
I don’t comment on your crashes. For me, the game runs smoothly without any stuttering or interruptions. This isn’t typical in the most recent update.
