I'm not familiar with Aw, but Unity isn't quite ready for use... It's much improved since the release, though it's not yet fully functional.

From what i've read and watched the game seems to be awesome. Play this before another 50 patches come out for unity and its playable, oh and get it on sale like a year from now.

I'm using Unity at 50-60 frames per second. Occasionally it drops to around 45 fps. I'm running on an i7 processor and a GTX 970 with 4GB RAM. It feels fine so far, no major issues.
