Consider Unity or Syndicate for the Assassins Creed title you choose. Both are great options, especially if you're new to the series.

They are all confusing, and the graphics are poor and buggy in my opinion. If you can find one for under six dollars, I would take it. I rented an AC game and played it for three days, but I didn’t understand much about what was happening. Playing that game felt like a chore to me.

Altair's narrative spans multiple series including AC1, Ezio trilogy, AC2, Brotherhood, Pirates of the Caribbean, AC Revelations, AC Black Flag. Consider getting the season pass or gold edition if possible. Explore options like AC Unity, Rogue, and AC3 for additional content.

It's not too hard if you follow the release sequence. Or check my list for details.

They started with AC3, then moved to AC4. Those were the ones with the fewest problems, and the story was really good.

Black Flag was completely awesome gameplay. It's the only one worth playing in the series.

I don’t have personal preferences, but you might find similar games on G2A or Steam priced around 30 dollars. Look for indie titles or budget releases that match your interests.

Top narrative choice = AC2, followed by brotherhood, then big reveals.
Ideal open-world adventure for a pirate title: AC4 Black Flag.
Modern storyline suggestion: AC1.

ACs perform well, but I haven’t dived into Syndicate like I did with others—I really liked Unity more so far. Black Flag stands out as a personal favorite among the titles I’ve played, and it’s also one of my all-time favorites.
