Above 4G decoding with a resizable bar—better on or off?
Hello everyone, I’m playing a variety of games in my free time—CSGO, GTA 5, MK11, Tekken, Ark, Witcher 3 and more. Recently I noticed my FPS is dropping significantly, especially compared to last year’s performance with this setup. My current configuration includes: CPU – Mobo: Gigabyte Z590M; Intel i7-11700K; GPU – Nvidia EVGA RTX 3070 XC1; RAM – HyperX Fury Beast (4x8GB, 32GB); SSD – Samsung 970 EVO Plus for OS and a 1TB QVO SSD; plus some HDDs from my previous build. I occasionally do light video editing or simple tasks like using Excel, but these aren’t major strainers. Still, I’m worried about the low FPS drops in certain games. Should I turn on the 4G decoding and resizable rebar? Might it help, but I’m unsure if my system will handle it without issues. I’ve looked online about 4G decoding and rebar—most recommendations seem aimed at mining or high-GPU builds. What do you think? Any advice would be appreciated.
