You’ll need a powerful PC for smooth performance. A decent build works well, but you can run it on an 1050TI or RX 550 with 4 GB RAM. Make sure you have enough memory and other components to handle the workload.

Hey there, it's a good idea to have at least 8gb of ram.

Upgrade your setup for VR with a powerful GPU. Consider the 1060 with 6GB, an i5-6500/6600K or R5-1500 processor, and 8GB RAM (preferably faster with unlocked chipset). Make sure you have a solid power supply to keep everything running smoothly.

I achieved a score of 1070 with a GPU budget of 4790k. It was challenging to run many games smoothly at 90fps, particularly in The Climb where you need at least 1080 or better performance and good graphics. While 1070 works for most titles, I’m not entirely confident it’s sufficient for optimal experience.

And you found your caps lock key! Good, I was getting worried. One important thing to note: The recommended specs are to be able to run ALL vr games. You can absolutely play SOME games with lower specs, but not all. Though, keep in mind the same game in VR needs more power to run it than it would on a regular TV. 60 FPS at 1920x1080 is 124.4 million pixels per second. A lot of people won't mind 30FPS, which makes this only 62.2 MP/s. VR needs 90FPS at 2160x1200, which is 233.3 MP/s, and that's the minimum that you can't go below without ruining the experience. That's almost twice the processing power to run VR. So just because you run modern games fine, doesn't mean VR games will. However, games like Rec Room will run fine on much lower spec systems than something like Call of the Starseed.
