You should reinstall Windows 7 first, then upgrade to Windows 10. Installing Windows 10 after a fresh install is more efficient and avoids potential issues.

The distinction lies in the process of adding Windows 7 and then moving to version 10.

Is this feasible? You can upgrade your W7 immediately at installation or later on after setup, depending on what you meant.

I'm thinking about a fresh setup using an ISO file. OP, you're in the same situation and aim to wait for Windows 10 updates before doing a clean install instead of reinstalling Windows 7.
