Poor coding choices? I pushed Crysis 1 to 1920x1080 on a 2012 Alienware with AA battery. It still delivers great visuals. You're probably thinking about poor design? The Witcher 2 at higher resolutions barely manages 40fps on my 5930k and 980ti. Crysis 1 remains impressive, offering vast open areas for exploration. You can attack outposts from any direction. The physics are solid—enjoy shooting enemies on ropes or dropping structures with grenades. The dynamic environment reacts realistically. A really underrated title overall. The second version feels less polished but still decent. The first remains the standout.
