Hello everyone, I have a quick query. My A8-6500 has a dead battery, and I’m considering using a first-dead-cell technique. I’m unsure whether it’s soldered at the IHS or secured with thermal paste, so I’m reaching out for clarification. Thanks ahead!

Are you aiming for precision and a polished outcome? Those components were soldered, which means they require significant heat.

It's just my first experience, and it's already over. I don't care about the appearance.

You're always willing to give it a shot and make it work, even if you need a bit more effort. It's like when things were simpler back then.
