I attempted to change my BIOS to F21a but made a mistake. I followed the incorrect steps and ended up with the wrong update. I only realized the error after the PC reported a successful installation and then restarted, but it never showed anything. I tried refreshing with the original software (F2) using the Q flash button, which seemed to work, yet the display still wouldn’t show anything. I’m unsure what to do next. (Ryzen 5 7600, RX 6700XT) Should the motherboard remain intact thanks to the Q flash button and proper firmware installation? This is our first time handling this, and he previously had RAM issues—his system would crash immediately when trying to boot EXPO. It turned out the RAM sticks have different timing requirements. I learned that version F4 had an improvement for memory OC, so I decided to try this for him. But I completely went wrong.
Probably the mainboard is failing, so updating the BIOS isn't something you should change...
I watched an older video, saved the file, and extracted it onto a formatted USB stick. After booting into BIOS, it detected and installed it, reporting success before the system failed to load. I powered off the device, used F2 to flash it, renamed the extracted file to gigabyte.bin, and then copied only that specific file onto the USB drive. After pressing the Q flash button, it completed a 5-minute flash and then stopped.
