You're adjusting components and can't view the BIOS, are you referring to a negative voltage offset? Thanks for clarifying.

I'm sure it'll make sense when looking at the bios

Adjust to negative setting. Raise All Core Curve Optimizer Magnitude limit to a maximum of 30. If stable at that level, everything seems fine though some CPUs might not support it. A value around 20 is a reliable choice. To further restrict the maximum power a CPU can draw, modify PPT in the PBO settings. In short, PPT controls the wattage limit; setting it to 100 will cap usage at that point.

Thanks a lot! I haven't adjusted the CPU settings much lately—things are now fully automatic. Used to have to tweak one thing at a time and spend months or even years getting the best from my old overclocking rig. Appreciate the tip!

I've updated your previous note with PPT details. Please verify if that matches your requirements. Negative Curve Optimizer won't cut power if you run your CPU at full capacity, but it lets it increase more in those cases. When it doesn't run constantly at 100%, power consumption drops. Adjusting the PPT limit will establish a strict power cap for the CPU, though all advantages of the negative curve optimizer remain active—so it's worth fine-tuning.
