A10 7800 3.9ghz Turbo Mode paired with GT1030 2gb DDR5 RAM
I use an Amd a10 7800, GT 1030, 16gb ram ddr3 1600 mhz.
I tested in some games and my cpu is used around 100% while the graphics are about 40%.
I test in GTA 5 CPU About 94-100% While Graphics 40-50% On Auto Settings .. High, Very High.
Csgo Cpu about 97-100% graphic 30%.
Minecraft is cpu 40-50% graphic 40-50%.
And there are a lot of games.
Is this the bottleneck on the CPU?
Whether to overclock Graphics or reduce graphics memory or reduce ghz to CPU Can Somebody Explain.
PS Sry for my bad English I’m from Croatia. I’m not very good at English: /
Thanks in advance
_MasterG_ :
Damm, gta 5 and cs go are cpu intensive at all. yeah there is bottleneck but no so bad at all, try others game not cpu-killer and post the results ( temps too please)
CSGO
Gpu 40% 49-52 Temp
Cpu 98-100% 38-43 Temp
Minecraft
Gpu 20-30% 40-46 Temp
Cpu About 85-96% Temp Is 35-38
Fortnite Battle Royale
Gpu 60-70% 60-65 Temp
Cpu 90-100% 36-40 Temp
Solution? Or more games Test? ..
Your findings clearly highlight the limited strength of the CPU in your APU. Lower your graphics configurations to the minimum and recheck.
oroz69 :
in csgo everything feels low
In minecraft it's just the same
Fortnite battle royal is intense, I get about 40-60 fps
I put everything on a low setting
My graphics are overclocked
GPU boost clock 215
Memory clock 1445
Corwin, well, xD, you failed, try the highest settings
CPU bottleneck can be reduced if graphics are increased (except for render distance, shadow distance, etc.)
This happens because more GPU power will be needed
Your average frames per second in CS:GO across all low and high settings at 1280x1024 and 1980x1080 is as follows.
what is your average fps in csgo at all low and high settings? 1280x1024
i play at 170-200fps in competitive 1280x720
