Hello everyone, the name of this router stands out because I'm excited about its features. It's an ADB VV5820 model, and I've been exploring ways to use it as a bridge or access point since my primary router struggles with coverage. Do you know more about this device? Any advice or insights would be greatly appreciated!

Start by accessing your router's web interface, then connect it to your computer or laptop. Next, perform a factory reset to restore default settings and look for login details such as IP address, username, and password on the router's back panel. After entering the correct credentials, you should see a quick setup screen and proceed with the instructions.

This appears to be a DSL/VoIP gateway unit. Did you receive it from your internet service provider? If yes, certain parts may be restricted for user access. However, you can still follow @Vova’s recommendations to verify.

I understand how to access the router's interface, but I’m having trouble finding the "auto restart" option or similar settings.

You're searching for an "auto restart" feature. The relevant settings are usually found in the Administration section. If you can't locate it, check if the device has a physical reset button—press it for about half a minute before releasing it to let it power on correctly.

The situation continues unchanged. You didn’t clarify your issue. To make it function properly as an Access Point, simply assign it a fixed IP address, disable DHCP, enable uPNP, and connect it to a LAN port on the main router.
