The typical response is to lower it as much as possible.

Varies based on processor type, model, cooling solution, and surrounding temperature. Around 100°C marks when most contemporary CPUs begin to slow down to conserve energy. Aim to keep it well under that threshold for optimal performance and longevity. Generally, staying below 80°C is a solid target, though the ideal depends on your specific setup and usage conditions.

70c works well for me. If it's an AVX load, that should be fine.

My Cinebench results vary based on CPU and cooling setup. With my 5900x and a 360mm AIO, I achieved 66°C. The highest was 88°C using an i9 10900kf with the same cooler. My i9 9900k reached 76°C with a Noctua D15. All seem solid for their specifications.

It varies based on the processor you have. My 8600k might reach around 60°C, while 11th generation chips can go over 90°C, which is quite high.

85*c stands out for me across both CPU and GPU configurations, and I’ll adjust the settings to match my preferences. A 360mm AIO unit paired with my i910850K (5.1Ghz allcore +AVX) gives me roughly 85*c, possibly a bit higher during peak loads, though that’s mainly for AVX tasks. For other workloads, it’s around 80*c or lower—generally between 40-65*c in games. My GPU is submerged with an airflow backplate, so performance concerns aren’t an issue here.

as previously mentioned, my 10900k should score between 85-90 in Cinebench R23 and 60-65 in gaming (*My previous 8700k would sit around 80-85*C in R23 and 60-65*C in games), while my older 6600k would be under 80*C in R23 and roughly 60 in games. All of this within a 360mm AIO.

They're decent. It's my i9 11900k running stock with a Noctua D15 fan and one fan. The original price was high for the CPU, not worth upgrading from an i9 10900k, so it wasn't a great deal. At $350, though, it's a solid purchase. Spoiler alert!

As long as it isn't thermal throttling, it's fine. What temperatures are you seeing?
