Worms can be used with a pad and offer an engaging experience for young children while providing a good challenge.

It's a small indie title with a playful visual style that encourages reflection.

Keep me updated on the progress! He's lucky to have you around as a relative... If you need any Steam games, I can provide some codes for a great discount. Would you like to try co-op games with him on Xbox or PC? If yes, then maybe Call of Duty or something similar in a private LAN session could be a good way to teach him basic FPS skills. Just an idea—so when he visits his friends' houses, he can impress them all... I wish I had that kind of training!

I was thinking the same thing. What a great uncle/aunt. I'm not sure how old he is but one of my favorite games is Call of Duty:World at War zombies. On PC, there are endless amounts of maps to play. I also back skyrim too. Also with the Xbox, maybe some sports games? Baseball, football, hockey, what ever y'all are into. You could also emulate the Zelda games too. Those are great fun. The batman arkham games are good too. @ orcinhell

Those who suggest shooters to a 10-year-old should reflect on themselves.

I’m not just focused on myself—I care about others too... Anyway, back in my day I enjoyed playing first-person shooters...

I’m acting out of self-interest since I believe games involving killing aren’t suitable for 10-year-olds. Hopefully you’re not a parent.
