Hello everyone!

I’m looking to purchase a handheld gaming device, and I'm uncertain about which one to select.

During my research, the Nintendo Switch has appeared, but I’m wondering if there are alternative consoles offering a wider selection of games comparable to those found on PC or PlayStation 4.

Could you offer some guidance? Thank you.

A revised edition is anticipated in the near future, though Nintendo will likely continue to provide assistance for some time. They maintained support for the WiiU for five years, despite its poor performance and relatively low sales figures.

The device boasts two of the most highly regarded game titles from the previous ten years as exclusive releases, along with what many consider to be the finest fighting game of recent times. Doom and Wolfenstein are included, with Overwatch slated for release in the near future. Indeed, portable gaming consoles besides the Switch seem to be losing their appeal and popularity.

The Nintendo Switch debuted in 2017. My worry is that it will shortly introduce a fresh portable device, leading to the Switch becoming obsolete in the near future.

A revised edition is anticipated in the near future, however, given Nintendo’s practices, they will continue to provide assistance for a considerable period. They maintained support for the Wii U for five years, despite its largely unsuccessful sales performance and problematic status.

Do I have to pay for a Nintendo Online membership to play with others, or can I simply purchase the game and enjoy online play without incurring any additional expenses?

You’ll need to register, but it costs around three pounds per month, and you'll gain access to a wide variety of classic Nintendo Entertainment System and Super Nintendo games.
