Here's two videos of the issue. There's basically a horizontal line on rocky/dirt terrain. Sometimes on grassy terrain. NEVER on paved roads. It's barely visible unless you walk or drive like I am in the video. This is quite frankly the only issue I have in GTA 5. It's so subtle, I have to at least know what it is. My guess is that it will always exist. This game play is in 1440p 60 but I've never uploaded to YouTube until today so it's in 1080p 60. The quality doesn't do the issue much justice but you can definitely see it. The horizontal line is located around 10 feet in front of the car. Most noticeable in almost the entire 1st video and around the 0:04-0:09 second mark of the 2nd video. This is NOT a graphic setting issue in any way because I have moved everything up and down over and over to see if it makes any difference and it does not. Not a g-sync or v-sync issue, tried those as well. It's also not a horizontal line located in the center of the screen. I know it may look like that in the video but it's not. It's on the terrain itself. Also not a resolution or refresh rate issue. I've tried switching between them over and over as well. Anyone know what this may be? And possibly a fix for it? By the way, this only happens in GTA 5. No other game. It's pretty much unnoticeable while driving at much faster speeds. In fact, if anyone just so happens to own GTA 5, see if you notice the issue in your game doing what I'm doing on this type of terrain. You may notice it too. That would have to mean it's an issue with the game itself if you do. EDIT: The game play video is now in 1440p 60. I guess it updates over time. Much better quality to see the issue now. Consider adjusting the render distance or increasing the tessellation value. I removed my GTA V installation to test, and raising those settings resolved the issue.

The render distance isn't adjustable in GTA 5. I've confirmed this by repeatedly changing the settings without any noticeable effect. Distance scaling, tessellation—nothing changes.
