We lack sufficient information to confirm a definitive yes or no. Primarily we need to know the specific CPU model. What are you doing with the system? What details about the hardware are provided? *The exact specifications matter, including clock speed, core count, and threads.* Understanding IPC is crucial too—it measures performance beyond just GHz.

It's a Ryzen 5 3400G with 16GB DDR4 RAM at 3200MHz and an ASUS Prime B450MK motherboard.

I'm checking how the system is being used and confirming if this PC is already yours.

For browsing the web and playing light games, yes. For 4K gaming at ultra 144Hz, no.

A 3400G with 2x8GB RAM at 3200MHz works well for gaming at 1080p low settings around 60fps in lighter games, office tasks, web browsing, word processing, and programming. NOT suitable for 1080p 144Hz or high-end gaming, deep learning, high-res video rendering, or professional 3D modeling. Do you see why details matter and why everyone asked?

For casual gaming on medium settings or simpler titles, this CPU could be suitable if you're not using a video card. For various games, you might eventually need a video card. You don't have to participate in every discussion—just refrain from responding if you're not helping the original poster. Edited October 15, 2020 by LogicalDrm
