Hey everyone, I'm trying to help my 88-year-old grandma after her grandpa passed. Her laptop is slow, so I set up a simple PC with an i5 4590, 8GB DDR3, and Nvidia GT220. It runs basic games that don’t need much thinking or quick reflexes. For her current needs, I’d suggest light games like "Portal," "Stardew Valley," or simple puzzle apps that keep things gentle and engaging.

Peggle is enjoyable, easy to grasp, and requires precise aiming to collect all the orange pegs

I believe a game designed to boost mental activity could be beneficial.

Luminosity. I came across a video about an older person playing Nintendo DS games to boost mental skills. Solitaire and point-and-click adventures also worked well. Investigation games, The Sims, Call of Duty, Minesweeper, walking simulators, and Zumba were among the suggestions. I think it was Zumba. You throw balls at balls in a track. Edit: Zumu, not Zumba.
