A significant problem with Fortnite: the game is frequently freezing and closing.
Recently, I’ve experienced frequent blue screens while attempting to play Fortnite. The game will often run for a short period, allowing me to speak and maintain acceptable frame rates in my task manager, before abruptly displaying an error message such as “MEMORY_MANAGEMENT” or “SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED.” This issue began around season 7 and appears to be affecting numerous other players.
I’ve spent considerable time attempting to resolve this problem, including reinstalling Windows 10 multiple times, updating and rolling back drivers, uninstalling and reinstalling BattleEye, and testing my RAM to ensure it’s functioning correctly. My system specifications are: CPU: i7-6600k, GPU: 1050 ti, RAM: 16gb (2x4 G.Skill) and (2x4 Crucial). My power supply is a CX500 Corsair.
The blue screens only occur when I download and launch Fortnite, not when using other applications. You can find a similar issue described here: https://www.epicgames.com/fortnite/forum...n-7-update.
Fortnite is an action game where players collaborate to construct elaborate defenses and engage in combat against monsters, all while collecting resources and exploring expansive environments.

I'm relatively new here, but I believe I’ve resolved the issue.
Numerous causes can trigger the blue screen of death. However, I suggest avoiding mixing RAM from various manufacturers, as this frequently results in malfunction due to incompatibility issues.
Recently, I experienced a period where Fortnite was functioning correctly. After investigating within the game’s folder, specifically accessing FortniteClient-Win64-Shipping and navigating to Compatibility, I disabled fullscreen optimizations. This resolved the issue! However, it occasionally exhibits unpredictable behavior, and if it crashes again with a blue screen, I will attempt the same troubleshooting steps. Additionally, I removed and reinstalled my graphics card and repositioned my peripherals.
I suspect your memory discrepancy is causing problems. Attempting to eliminate two memory modules and observing whether the blue screen disappears may resolve the issue.
I intend to attempt this as well, though it has not appeared since my previous feedback. However, I have previously experienced intermittent occurrences of this issue, and it has now gone without a Blue Screen of Death for an extended period.
