PC issues during high FPS uncapping with temperatures rising. CPU temps near 93°C, GPU at 68°C. System specs include 2133MHz, 16GB RAM, Ryzen 5 3600, and a Gigabyte B450M motherboard. Need advice on possible causes and fixes.

It seems odd—shouldn’t it be able to manage itself? Otherwise, just cap it to the FPS your graphics card supports? Your 93°C on the CPU is pretty high over time and isn’t ideal. Using a stock cooler from Ryzen could help, but you might need to adjust the temperatures first. Have you made any other changes to the system?

I don’t use OC and stock cooler. Yes, FPS capping works but it doesn’t feel smooth. I cap it at 80, then when uncapped it jumps to 120–160. It’s the only game where this happens.

It’s probably just the CPU temperature. Give it a quick check by opening the side panel for a few minutes, then launch a game to observe the readings.
