this is actually pretty legit as long as you know which posts to ignore. i actually look for negative reviews that have a really high playtime. those ones often have real commentary about the game that will let me know if its something i can get into longterm.

Alright, this a good point. Though i noticed some folks rate it bad because of crashes or them game does not start lol.

These kinds of reviews usually come from folks who haven’t played for more than an hour. I skip anything under five hours—anything shorter means they didn’t have a meaningful takeaway.
