Using Malwarebytes, Avast (free version), and basic judgment from PaulR91 works well.

I understand you're asking for a straightforward explanation.
Let's keep it simple: just state your point clearly.

You can find the 2016 edition by checking official sources or trusted platforms. Avoid downloading from unverified sites to prevent viruses.

You occasionally run manual scans with MalwareBytes and generally prefer paid options. Avast and AV Free work fine if needed, but don’t waste time on free services. MSR is quite impressive.

Use Malwarebytes alongside AVG or AVAST with common sense. Don’t waste time on fixes you can’t handle.

Malwarebytes stands out as the top choice for identifying and blocking emerging threats. It also includes an anti-exploit solution, which is especially useful for users running older versions of Internet Explorer.
