I checked my PC and after reassembling everything, a red light appeared under the 4-pin CPU power connector. On my ROG Z490 board there’s also a 6-pin heatsink mos plug that I don’t have the matching cable for—it only has 6 pins while the board needs 8. I haven’t experienced this issue in the past two years, even when using the 4-pin version. Could someone let me know if this is normal? I’m curious if there’s something missing or if the power supply is behaving differently now. If you’d like, I can share a photo of the setup.
