Hi, I was having trouble getting the PC to start today. The motherboard didn’t power on at all, and when I connected the power cable to the PSU, the board got really hot. I’m worried it might be dead, but I’ll get a replacement tomorrow. Thanks for reading!

I think it's a chip with high I/O capabilities, so overheating is expected in your situation. You might just need to install a fan for that area.

overheat refers to a situation where the temperature becomes too high, and touching something hot doesn't indicate it's close to its overheating limit for most devices.

It seems like you're asking if something is no longer available. You mentioned getting a new version and want to confirm whether the current one is still valid.

I’m 90% sure it will be gone, leaving the remaining 10%—like the CPU, RAM slots, or PSU—to be completely useless.
