A question about CS:GO and why you fell in love with it.
I used to play 1.5 and 1.6 back when competitive gaming was thriving; that’s why I started exploring CS:GO last year when it gained more traction. (Just for fun) It brings back a lot of memories while feeling modern with fresh maps, better weapons, and new strategies. Personally, I don’t mind skins, but the game definitely draws in a lot of players, so it looks like a solid addition.
It seems the issue lies in how the game handles weapon identification, making certain skins seem irrelevant. People often focus more on showcasing achievements than on accurate weapon details. While I don’t mind flashy or colorful skins, it can be annoying when a weapon’s type isn’t clear—like thinking it’s an AWP but it’s actually a scout or vice versa. I guess those who care about skins are usually more informed about which ones match specific weapons.
It seems some folks are trying to highlight their large wallets. If everyone could disable this feature, it wouldn’t work.
