Your current model ran smoothly at 40-60 frames per second in 1080p resolution. It seems the 750 Ti version might have similar performance issues.

I also used my old graphics card because I didn’t have enough for a new one, and now I’m working on saving up for a better one.

You're on the right track. Expect around 50 frames per second with medium settings. There seems to be a console option to disable shadows, which could improve performance by about 15 frames per second.
