Bought DOOM from cdkeys.com and wondered about the experience with my current setup. I have an I7 7700K with 750 Ti RAM, though the 750 Ti is considered low-end. I’m planning upgrades soon.

You should be able to run it smoothly at lower settings. Expect around 60 frames per second, though it shouldn't drop below that.

Doom runs smoothly thanks to its efficient optimization, especially when using lower or medium difficulty settings. Adjusting a few parameters can help achieve around 60 frames per second.

I work with NVIDIA Ge-force Experience to improve my gaming performance. I’m not sure about its optimization capabilities, but it works decently for my needs so far.

It's really bad XD. I've heard plenty of tales about GeForce issues messing up games. For example, the excessive tiling in The Witcher 3 doesn't improve visuals much and actually drops frames per second by over 20%.

The GTX 750 Ti achieves around 20 frames per second at 1080p using OGL, which is at the highest setting. It’s possible it might reach 40-50 FPS when reduced to a medium quality level.

Lower the settings to medium-low, you should see around 50-60 frames per second. I’m curious about how you chose a low-end Kepler card with a high-end Kaby Lake processor.

It can be enjoyed at lower mid ranges. You might be able to offer your card on Amazon, Craigslist, or Craglist for around $1050 or more.

It seems likely the card was available with OP before the PC was purchased or assembled.
