Hello!

I previously had a subpar computer, so several months ago I chose to upgrade and purchased entirely new components and constructed a second PC. However, it’s failing to execute any software and is incredibly disappointing. I'm unable to consistently achieve 60 frames per second on low settings with games like Fortnite, Minecraft, Gang Beasts, Apex, and countless others. My UserBenchmark assessments revealed that my system’s performance was below anticipated levels, and I’m uncertain of the resolution. Interestingly, regardless of whether I adjust the graphics parameters to be high or low, the frame rate remains constant. I'm confident that everything was assembled accurately (I've built over four PCs previously without encountering this issue). This is genuinely disheartening because I’ve invested a significant amount of money in this machine, and it pains me that I can’t utilize it. When comparing my framerate to friends who possess computers with less powerful specifications, they were able to smoothly run my preferred games on high settings at 60fps. If anyone could offer assistance, I would be extremely grateful <333

Specifications:
CPU - i7-7700
CPU Cooler – Arctic Freezer 33 ESports One
GPU - GTX 1070 FE
Motherboard - ASUS ROG STRIX B250G Gaming
RAM - 4x4GB DDR4 2133MHz HyperX Fury
PSU - Corsair CX750
HDD - WD Blue 1TB
SSD – Kingston 120GB

A further detail is that I also use PSU cable extensions; while I’m unsure if this might impact the situation, it's prudent to take preventative measures.

What port is the display connected to – the graphics card or the mainboard? Please share a link to your UserBenchmark scores.

I sincerely appreciate your quick response; the HDMI cable is connected to the graphics card.

I don’t understand why the ‘graphics’ section appears green because I am certainly unable to play Human Fall Flat fluidly, honestly.

High CPU activity from your processor is observed, along with a lack of performance boost, potentially suggesting overheating.

Also did you do a clean OS install on the new hardware or just transplant your old OS onto the new hardware?

Start checking your back ground programs and see whats eating up your cpu usage.

I’m playing a game currently, and the processor usage is around 50%, while the combined processes in Task Manager total no more than 40%.
