Hi everyone. I'm just starting out as a builder too, and I'm facing a problem that my experienced friends haven't encountered.
I've just finished a new build, but it won't boot at all. The screen is dark. The motherboard seems to receive power because the RGB in the top left turns on, but the four error LEDs in the top right remain off. The graphics card and CPU cooler appear to be receiving power, though the CPU cooler shows a red triangle with an exclamation mark on the LCD.
I believe this is due to a connection issue, but I've tried everything possible.
All fans, including the RGB ones, don't turn on. I've double-checked all connections and found nothing damaged.
I'm leaning toward a CPU cooler problem, possibly because the motherboard might be failing to boot as a failsafe. The CPU cooler has had issues before, requiring an update, but that shouldn't explain the booting problem.
I'm hoping to get advice here before investing more money, in case it's something simple I overlooked.

Yes, and yes. The fan headers on the Asus Mobo can be challenging. Sometimes the AIO headers aren't compatible, so I've discovered through videos and forums that most AIO coolers prefer the 1-pin connector. The 1-pin connector might also be a problem. I purchased the NZXT Kraken cooler, which has 2 pins, and I'm hoping that resolves the issue. It's just frustrating as a new builder, but I'm trying to solve it through trial and error. People have told me the build is simple, but getting power and getting it to start can be difficult.
