Hey, I understand the situation with GTA V posts. It seems like keeping a steady 30 fps is tough, especially while driving, even with all settings at "high." I’m wondering if it’s related to the slight overclock on my 290 or the 8 GB of RAM I have. Could you help me figure this out? Thanks! EDIT - 400 post!

I don't believe the overclock was the issue, I just turned it down.

They're all too caught up in playing GTA V (they don't own it)

My 290 is working fine. It doesn't seem like a Gameworks title either. Only Nvidia things are FXAA and that one other soft shadow setting that has an AMD and Nvidia version.

It seems the setup isn't quite what you expected. Using an FX-6300 with 70% of a 970 MHz processor and getting better FPS suggests adjustments. Try resetting graphics settings and turning off Vsync. Your maximum RAM usage in-game was around 6 GB.
