After roughly a month the Rx 7800 xt began producing a loud high-pitched noise when under significant stress. What might be causing it? The sound varies based on my actions during gaming.

It's probably coil whine, which is normal and not dangerous. It's just a minor issue caused by your GPU's operation.

If the card is brand new and comes with warranty, you can request a return of the coil whine via RMA. Of course, this might mean you'll be without your GPU for some time. Additionally, if the coil whine isn't excessive, they may choose not to RMA it or opt to replace it with another card that also has minimal coil whine.

Thanks, but I’m not sure it’s too loud at the moment. As long as everything seems fine and safe, I’ll keep using what I have.
