This seems like an unusual suggestion, but it could be practical depending on the situation.
I believe this could work well as a game. Playing as a Kurdish warrior bravely against the IS and similar forces would be engaging. I prefer a less futuristic style, which I think adds value. Still, it feels a bit premature. I’m tired of games filled with exaggerated tech and flashy features. I’d rather have something grounded or practical for real combat. The Syrian conflict is a complex and compelling civil war, making it an interesting subject.
Too soon...as long as it is still in main stream media they prob think it is too risky to make. "Hey let's play that level in that town where 100 people were killed just last year! The part of the game was awesome!" - a sarcastic remark included in just 1 of many negative articles about this game if it was released lol The reason why CoD got away with the middle east content is because, while it was still going on, it kind of disappeared from main stream media in the West. Plus, they quickly escalated it to pure fantasy levels with later releases.
