I am organizing a data transfer of roughly one terabyte from an AWS S3 bucket to an Azure Blob container. I have explored various professional tools such as AviPoint, MultCloud, Gs Richcopy 360, and several copy utilities. I am looking for a free option that offers good value.
My main goals are:
Keeping costs low—no fees per gigabyte or per job.
Ensuring an intuitive experience with minimal complexity and learning effort.
I want to focus on community-supported solutions or scripts that have worked well for large migrations. I also wish to understand how Azure’s native tools, like AzCopy, perform with such a big dataset.
Could you share your insights or suggestions for a free solution that meets these needs? Any tips on best practices for a smooth, cost-effective move would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
