Fewer options signal a strong control structure—big companies can afford it. If you're after the latest Linux versions for free, stick with W$. People aren't paid, so you need to put in your own work. For anyone involved in coding, documentation is often the toughest part and hard to maintain. Yes, someone mentioned you picked Arch, one of the least welcoming distributions to begin with.

It's true that not all Linux distributions are perfect. My experience with Manjaro was quite disappointing, especially during the partition setup through the GUI installer. Eventually, I had to handle the partitioning myself, which caused the tool to fail and give a generic error message.

Same here, except for Manjaro. I’ve noticed Mint generally functions smoothly out of the box across a wide range of devices—from simple gadgets to complex systems. Other distributions have been inconsistent in their reliability.

It seems you're questioning the claim that Linux shines due to its single-command installation feature. One might argue that highlighting exceptions doesn't reflect the overall experience.
