A possible side effect of new consoles is increased GPU-driven physics across all hardware, not just Nvidia. Maybe my perspective is different—I'm excited when my CPU usage gadget shows all six cores (AMD 1090T!) active, which proves more games are leveraging multicore systems. We should see even more games utilizing this capability.
Ensure the Nvidia control panel utilizes the GPU instead of the CPU when using PhysX.
