Lately they say it's the same engine with some minor changes. That's been frustrating for many of us. My 82-hour stint is behind my younger sibling who has way more time. We should meet up—I usually serve as the main sniper at airfields.
Nope. Check out the latest updates on their site. Great. If I manage to carve out even a little time, that’d be nice. Lots of sleep already gone for Skyrim, that’s the thing. Cool. I’m pretty flexible with what I do. Most of my time is solo, so I’m still learning team play.
It came out on the same platform, but the rocket issue forced us to redesign. They’re combining parts from multiple engines they have and working on merging them into a single system for DayZ.
They retained just the core elements that functioned effectively, such as weapon ballistics and the networking system they originally built. Moving to DX11 marked a significant change, offering the chance to substantially enhance quality and resolve performance problems.
You're looking for more realistic grass behavior. It seems the level of detail should change based on how close you are to it, with nearby grass appearing sharper and farther ones less detailed. This would help maintain immersion and ensure consistent quality across different distances. I think this could make expansive areas like Chernarus look much better, as if the game automatically adjusted grass visibility to suit your perspective. It would also prevent the feeling that the environment isn't fully rendered for a high-quality experience.
I've reviewed this with prior discussions and agree it will provide significant flexibility for extending draw ranges for structures and greenery. I'm also anticipating improved ground texture quality with detailed tiling. Additionally, water reflections should become feasible.
I purchased War Z last year after confusing it with Day Z. It was really bad. Later I bought Day Z because of all the good reviews... it feels almost identical to War Z, but runs smoother. (Or infestation survivor stories, whatever.) I attempted to enjoy Day Z, but completely failed. I’m okay with making progress, maybe. I’m hoping it performs better now.
I wish. I feel like dayz mod is still amazing while standalone needs some help........
