Launch MSI Afterburner to track CPU/GPU activity (or use Task Manager on a second screen). Run the game briefly then open MSI Afterburner to see which component hit 100%. Likely, if GPU reached 100%, CPU usage remains lower.

Only when the games restrict each other’s performance is it best to focus on one component. Check which part is reaching its maximum usage—either GPU or CPU threads. If GPU stays high (over 95%) and remains steady, consider upgrading that part. For CPU, if most threads are under 85% and GPU usage isn’t consistently high, a CPU upgrade might help improve frame rates.

For the third question, I’m unsure about the exact amount—it’s probably between $800 and $600, which is around $500 in USD. Just let me know. Yes, I need a better GPU; my RTX 2060 is essentially a 1080 Ti and it’s been with me for a few years. Upgrading would be necessary since games that rely heavily on graphics won’t run well, like Fortnite. I’m not a tech enthusiast, so I think I just need a more powerful GPU.
