It seems I might be the only one doubting the 3090. For 4K gaming, you don’t need it. The key distinction from the 3080 is the extra VRAM, which isn’t necessary for gaming. If you’re willing to spend about $800 more just to claim you have the best, go for it—but a 3080 will suffice.

You need more processing power for higher frame rates and better quality. The CPU has to do more work, you can't just use a basic Pentium with a 3090 and expect smooth performance at 8k 200Hz. A Pentium can manage 1080p at 60Hz, but not at higher settings.

I haven’t heard anything about Intel or AMD before. I was just mentioning that Intel’s higher clock speed isn’t a big deal at 4K resolution, there’s little incentive to choose one over the other. Don’t feel the need to argue and call me a fanboi, you’re being overly emotional. Resolution does matter, but 1080p is mostly CPU intensive, while 1440p and 4K put more strain on the GPU, making the “Intel for gaming” claim less relevant. Don’t get upset like a Karen at management when most of your points were incorrect.
