I'm really looking forward to playing this game, though I'm still struggling with piloting the Aurora LN. Would there be any YouTube tutorials you could recommend? Spending 10-20 hours in drone sim seems like a great way to improve, even if it feels daunting at first.

It's hard to manage my aurora using just a keyboard and mouse. Still, I think most flight simulators cover the essentials for control.

You might be flying an Aurora LN while operating a base/trainer model in AC mode. It's challenging, but rolling into turns helps and using nose-up nose-down thrusters makes yaw smoother. Small mouse movements work better since the aircraft can drift away. Try to keep the cursor close to your target for better tracking. I'm not an expert or even a beginner, but I've seen improved control with these techniques.

I've recently used an Xbox controller and noticed fewer asteroids hitting... for real flying tips, just ignore what you usually do!

Having played many Sims for a long time, I've learned a lot. Each ship behaves differently. Right now, I have both the 300I and Hornet trainers, and they definitely don't fly alike. Few people share quality training videos on flight controls—they're still in poor shape, but we'll get better rebinding and proper setups soon. The main tip? Keep practicing.

I also rely on a PS3 controller, acting like an Xbox one, which is way better than using a keyboard and mouse. I personally prefer the joystick.

Practice is key to mastering piloting, so grasping the basics of your ship is essential. I discovered the YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/user/MercenaryThorrn offers excellent materials for learning in Star Citizen AC.
