A gllitch in Motherboard BIOS?
Hi, today I'm adjusting my CPU settings a bit. In the BIOS I changed the multiplier to 37, which brought it up to around 3.7GHz. After restarting, both CPUID and Windows Task Manager showed a RAM speed of 3600MHz instead of the expected 3200MHz. Even Ryzen Master reported a Memory Clock and Fabric Clock of 1800MHz. I'm using a 2x AData XPG Spectrix D41 8GB with 2666MHz and a 3200MHz XMP profile. It's strange to see this happen without physically changing the RAM. Once I rebooted, the speed returned to 3200MHz. Anyone have experienced this? What could be causing the system to misread the RAM speed as 3600MHz? I'm not sure if software can access BIOS data directly, but it seems quite unusual. Let me know if you have any ideas!
