It seems you're checking if the Plants vs. Zombies garden warfare game for PC runs on multiple platforms, including PS4.

From my understanding, there isn't a game that works equally on PC and consoles. There are some cross-platform console games available, either new or currently released.

Observe that Rocket League runs on PC and PS4, with more titles available across platforms in Steam's collection.

It claims compatibility across platforms on Steam, though it's not functioning as intended. The PS4 currently blocks cross-platform releases, so nothing is being made available there at the moment.

It seems odd since what I learned contradicts my previous understanding.

They seem really focused on keeping players locked into their own platform. It’s not about sharing games—it’s about encouraging purchases. Microsoft doesn’t seem to mind because it just makes them more motivated to push everything onto XBOX and PC.

I've heard that PSN was previously offered something but they declined. Now it seems Sony introduced the cross-platform discussion, which surprised me. I also learned Microsoft was upset about it. It feels like when one side agrees, the other reacts strongly to avoid a similar situation.
