You're considering Black Desert's Travelers/Explorers add-on. It's a good question—this package adds new content like side quests, characters, and story elements, which can change how you play. The main difference lies in the extra missions and interactions, but it doesn't drastically alter core gameplay mechanics. Whether it's worth it depends on your interest in those new features!

I received a 7-day code from a friend. I tried it for 20 minutes. After several months, I purchased the regular 10 euro version. I played for an hour and stopped because the game didn't guide me clearly—what to do next? It had a confusing main story that felt like a place where you should talk to people, kill things, interact with a black ball, repeat actions, and speak to it. The experience was repetitive and boring. There were supposed to be quests, but they were mostly the same. The combo system had around 2000 possibilities, making it impossible to remember them all. It didn't feel worth the 10 euros. If you need another 7-day code, I can provide one.

You can definitely try the game with a free code. Your friend’s opinion might be strong, but personal experience matters most.

I’m considering purchasing it this evening too. I’m okay with a bit of a steep learning curve, but a new game should have a simple tutorial... but at 7.50 USD that’s a lot.
