Considering a fresh RTS experience, I found Ashes of the Singularity intriguing, but Halo Wars 2 also caught my eye. If anyone here has played either title or has recommendations, your thoughts would be appreciated. I enjoyed Command & Conquer (the classic versions) and Tiberian Sun, and Starcraft doesn’t quite fit my taste. I’m open to any suggestions and feedback. Thanks!

Ashes offers a solid concept with bigger forces and a more authentic combat experience. However, I found it lacking in clarity on army construction and struggled with the AI system—making decisions like calling in reinforcements without verifying nearby production or idle facilities feels confusing.

It seems like you're summarizing a common opinion based on what you've learned. The main point is likely about the widespread view regarding artificial intelligence's current capabilities and limitations.
