Hello, I finished assembling my PC without any problems. All components were correctly installed and XMP was activated. Windows 11 was set up normally with regular updates and drivers. I restarted the system several times without any complications. The next day, around 10 hours after shutdown, I noticed the PC would power off repeatedly, restarting itself in a loop. The PSU seemed to click briefly before the restart. My motherboard had status LEDs, and the DRAM displayed a solid orange color. I attempted to reset CMOS, tried placing RAM modules individually, but eventually realized the PSU wasn’t clicking properly and the system rebooted almost instantly afterward. The DRAM indicator disappeared too; only the CPU’s LED remained bright. I checked all connections, swapped CPU cables, even tested different connectors, and gave the heatsink a gentle tug. Still, no improvement. The motherboard was in standby mode, with no cables behind it. During power cycles, fans spun nonstop and the GPU lights stayed on. I also removed the GPU and all peripherals, but nothing changed. I tried short-circuiting the power switch to turn it on briefly, yet the issue persisted. My case or motherboard lacked a speaker, and the manual only mentioned status LEDs without detailed instructions. I’m uncertain if the CPU LED signaled anything since the PC briefly came back to life after a second. Overall, the problem remains: the system won’t post and keeps power-cycling (1 second on, 3 seconds off). Initially, the DRAM status light was orange, then the CPU lit up after clearing CMOS; everything worked fine afterward. Specific specs: i7-13700K, Gigabyte Z790 Aero G DeepCool, AK620 DDR5 6000MHz, Kingston 32GB KIT, CL36 FURY Corsair RM1000e, M.2 PCIe 4.0 NVMe, Samsung 980 PRO 2TB, plus a 1TB GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 1080 OC 8G (from previous build). I’m using NZXT H510 Flow. Appreciate any suggestions.

Replace the CPU, otherwise take out all components from the case and reassemble inside the box.

CPU replaced without problems, but the problem remains. Planning to repair it separately on the case.

Have you considered any possibilities left? I also experimented with various power supplies, but the problem persists. Would it be secure to update the BIOS using the quick flash option now?

I attempted to flash the BIOS using the on-board Q-Flash Plus button, but it didn't function. The CPU and ATX cables were connected, and the PSU was powered on. The Q-Flash LED wasn't blinking while searching for the BIOS file on the USB drive (which should have been 2.0 MBR FAT32 1GB with GIGABYTE.bin only). No lights came on either. My USB also had a working LED, but it was off. I'm planning to take the board in for RMA now. I want to make sure I didn't miss anything and that it isn't a faulty CPU or something else.

You're facing a similar problem but with the CPU LED lit instead of DRAM, and no power cycle was performed. The issue hasn't been resolved even after updating the BIOS. It might help if you try saving all relevant files before proceeding with Q-Flash, and renaming the file to GIGABYTE.BIN as instructed.

In manual it says "Uncompress the downloaded BIOS file, save it to your USB flash drive, and rename it to GIGABYTE.bin." But Q-Flash Plus button doesn't even attempt to search, there is no activity on USB either (and thats my best time-tested USB for the job). Im already returning motherboard tomorrow as there was nothing left to try and awaiting a new one following day. I had DRAM LED at first, but as I mentioned after some troubleshoting, it also stays at CPU one as yours. Have you flashed successfully with on-board Q-Flash Plus as you are not posting? Quite unsettling now knowing the fact, that updating it didn't help. Not sure what to expect with a new one then.

It seems your setup might differ from others, but you managed to boot after extracting several files from the compressed BIOS folder. The BIOS confirmed the upgrade was applied. You can find more information in your previous post. Since you can't test on another board, you'll need to follow the RMA procedure to determine if the problem lies with the CPU or motherboard.

I'm worried it might be a CPU issue. After power cycling and no response to flashing, I checked the motherboard first. It seems the PSU could be faulty, as testing different units didn't help. I'm now expecting problems like being manipulated by RAMs.
