I usually mean starting a boot and installing it in Windows. I’m asking since I’ve been dealing with many kinds of instability for months. I changed the motherboard because the old MMO was dead. But that card was out of order, so I put it back in. Instability isn’t great, but it’s better than nothing. Once I got into Windows, I checked my cable setup and noticed the LED was completely off. That’s confusing because for the past year it always showed a code—AA, right? I thought maybe it just kept showing the last one. Now I’m wondering if turning it on again might have fixed everything. It’s a tricky question, probably not easy to find answers for, but I’m here to learn. P.S. I’d really appreciate an emoji like ‘egg on face’ for this.

Varies by maker; each brand has its own troubleshooting codes. Refer to your guide. Codes helpful when nothing starts up, but less useful once the system boots. If you want advice on stability problems, let us know.

The MSI Gaming 7 z97a board displays your CPU temperature after the BIOS boots. The readings fluctuate and match your CPU package temperature during app testing. You didn’t configure anything, it automatically set itself when you started.

That's surprising, I didn't realize it was there.

This model supports activation on various boards, including your Asus X370. Checking the official documentation or contacting support would give you the most accurate details.

My CH7 has shown various results. Previously it showed 24, but that number changed when I opened Ryzen Master. After BIOS updates, it displayed AA. Further updates left it still showing AA. I recommend checking the forum thread here: https://www.overclock.net/forum/11-amd-m...hread.html for others' experiences.

Thank you. That is what I have now done. https://www.overclock.net/forum/11-amd-m...cs/1751252 Also, my board had been saying AA most of the time as well. Although I think it may have said something different several months ago. But either way, turning completely off now is weird...

It turned out the issue wasn't fixed. It ended up in the settings again. Still crashing and all the other problems...
