Occasionally, while I'm playing Rainbow Six Siege, my mouse cursor will lag with a frame rate between 90 and 100 frames per second. However, this is not my typical performance—I normally experience a frame rate of 200 to 300 frames, and the problem persists.

My hardware specifications are: Nvidia GeForce GTX 980 with 4GB of VRAM, Intel Core i7 6700k processor, and 16GB of DDR4 RAM.

Please include the age of your PSU and the version for your OS, if you're dealing with Windows 10. Also check and see which version of BIOS your motherboard is equipped with currently.
