A crash happened in several games because of an access violation error
I've been getting these constant crashes in many AAA games since I got my new Gigabyte RTX 3080 about two months ago. I also got stuck on Deathloop at random times, even after doing a lot of research and trying all the fixes that came up, so nothing worked there either. That's why I kept going through it myself while it crashed and reset my progress every ten minutes to two hours. Since then, I've been playing less demanding games okay like Overwatch 2 with just some minor crashes sometimes. Recently though, I finally tried to play Death Stranding and am having the exact same problem as with Deathloop. It's an Access Violation crash. Here is a picture of that error message screen. I usually know how to fix these things myself, but Google has been useless for me and the fixes they suggest haven't helped either. So now I'm hoping someone could help me try to make this work. I am not really willing to keep crashing randomly while trying to finish a game like this one.
that picture shows your GPU is overheating and crashed. It says device removed or access violation because of a driver issue. Then you need to install new drivers. Also, make sure the card fits in the PCIe slot properly and that the power cables are connected correctly. Try using separate power cables instead of daisy-chaining them. Finally, try running the game with default BIOS settings (clear your CMOS first).

Yeah, I thought fixing that old part might be something I had to do myself. I was really hoping there was another way around it. After reseating the graphics card and resetting the battery on my computer, games run fine with no crashes, thank you very much! I had a guess that the piece wasn't sitting in just right place, but didn't want to be sure yet.
