Settings aren't adjustable on the C2. I'm unable to modify them, and Tele2 confirmed they can't either.

It's disappointing... I think I'll need to connect a contemporary router to the LAN port on the C2, bypassing bridge mode for that.

Of course, if anyone can connect suitable contemporary routers—especially those accessible in the EU like Amazon.se or Amazon.de—with a built-in coax modem, I’m open to trying it. So far I haven’t found any routers that include a coax port.

Expecting a subpar setup with two routers connected in series. Called "double NAT-ed," it might not directly slow you down but could lead to unexpected connectivity problems with specific devices. Best practice is to turn off NAT/DHCP on the ISP router/modem combo box so it operates purely as a modem.

You likely have a Docsis gateway (modem/router). There are many Docsis devices available, but they depend on your ISP's support. Often these devices can switch to bridge mode if allowed, effectively turning off the router part and letting you use a regular router. If you only need a better router or Wi-Fi setup, you could replace it with a standard model. I use a CM1000v2 as my modem and a Synology RT2600AC as my router.
