Crysis 1 runs extremely demanding on the processor, barely utilizing multiple cores. It assigns full processing power to one core while using only half to half the capacity on the other.
It was tough to hit 60 fps in Crysis 1 with those specs—especially on a GTX 970 and a 4.4 GHz Pentium G3258 running at full settings. The performance was limited mainly by the CPU, not the graphics. It’s surprising how outdated the game felt despite its age.
