I began exploring all BF games and now focus on BF4. I found the wiki mentions BF Hardline, but I’m not familiar with it. Is Hardline an extension for BF4? Does it include a campaign? Or is it only available online? After that, BF1 was the previous title?
Battlefield hardline was a stand alone game, it was just terrible. It came after BF4, and had smaller maps and less guns. Servers are dead now as well. I wouldnt waste your money on it. Edit - there is a campaign. It follows BF4 and precedes BF1
BF: Hardline followed up BF4, but it didn’t do well. They released an open beta, and most people thought it was just a 'standalone extension for BF4 with only a cops vs. robbers mode.' It seems to lack a campaign, and the servers were nearly non-existent a month after launch. I wouldn’t recommend it if you were there.
Hardline isn't meant to be an expansion for BF4, though it might have been a better choice if it had been. I didn't dislike it as much as most people did, but the PC multiplayer scene was tiny just a few weeks after its release, and the launch of BF1 likely didn't help much. At one point I thought it could be worth buying on sale if you're bored with BF4, but now I'd suggest skipping it entirely. http://bfhstats.com/ Currently there are about 625 players online worldwide, and in Romania the number of people you can actually connect with is probably even smaller.
